I was reading a post called “By For Now : SuperUsers Replace EDNA” on one of Alexander Hayes blogs.
It would be a huge job to try and replace edna, it was edna groups that introduced me to world of adult online education and the TALO egroup and I know their main edna group has been taken over by a bunch of trolls who’s business model and skillset is obsolete. The problem is that its not funny anymore watching them bang their heads against the wall.
There’s real opportunity to offer teachers a gnu level of freedom and improve the quality of service, support and actively particpate in the growth of their learning communties and networks.
Being a member of the most successful community of knowledge workers in the world means much more then just having tech skills. Who do you think it is thats in the best position to provide distribution and support services of knowledge?
