Every Thursday at 5:30pm in Brisbane a photography group meets at King George Square in the city. The sessions go for 3 weeks and sometimes take 3 weeks off for a break. I can’t remember how many 3 week sessions they have before the break. It’s currently facilitated by Nigel Wesley.

#UPDATE: The community place left a comment below giving the best info about this event, I tried to find info about it but the page I had the link to before the event was no longer there, anyway here’s the best info about it taken from the comment:

These activities are actually facilitated by The Community Place (Community Centre located in Wooloowin) and funded through Brisbane City Council Active Parks Program. Nigel will also be conducting free classes on Saturdays at Mt Cootha and Wynnum Beach in the near future. For more information please call us on 3857 1152.

The weeks topic seemed to be about using your camera in manual mode for long exposures and also about motion blur.
