I think I have difficulty in coming to terms with phrases like "life-long learning" because I feel that it is one of many phrases that is bandied around without much understanding of what it means. So,, thanks for the links - has clarified a couple of things for me.  I also think that there is a whole other post to be made about early childhood development education - I think adolescent educators, and adult educators for that matter, have a lot to learn from that arena. I think as educators of older people (that is post 14) we sometimes forget the 'happiness' factor that education provides.  Anyway, thanks again and thanks for the MobilizeThis link - look forward to it!
